Disconnecting, Meditating, Reconnecting.

Greetings Beloved

I hope this blog finds you all in great spirits.

It is happening again. That moment when you need to recalibrate your inner world. The time to focus on your greater purpose and reconnect back with the true and raw essence of who you are and what you came here to do. This is the path I am on right now.

I am big on sharing my journey and experiences with others via this thing we call “Social Media.” It is allowing us to reach people from all walks of life, background, ethnicity, etc. It is allowing us to hold meaningful conversations and interactions without the urgent need to travel hours on end to do so.

The other side of social media is that it can and will take you away from the art of human interaction that we have so sadly lost. The gestures, tones, and subtle mannerisms that we are not able to pick up via text messages and online communicative exchanges, can make a world of difference when it comes to quality conversations and experiences. Yes we have Google Hangout, Skype, Snap Chat, and Face time but all those don’t do justice to the beauty of actually connecting with someone on a live and real level. It is, don’t get me wrong, a great temporary substitution for when circumstances present itself that prevents such beautiful human interactions to take place.

As a result, I am choosing to fast from all social media (emails and phone calls are welcomed due to the nature of my job and being a student online) to tap into the art of human connection. I feel I am slowly losing that art or it’s disappearing (because somethings are never lost, just not brought forth to our awareness) from my psyche.

In addition, I am also doing a physical fast (not sure if it will be fully raw or not but most definitely practicing the art of eating less) to be a catalyst for this transformation that I am about to go through.

What I will be doing mostly is dancing, writing (mostly in my new journal, not sure if I will use WordPress), grounding/earthing, connecting with folks in my community (possibly interviewing them for later uploads on Discovery of Self), and focusing on cleansing my thoughts, words, emotions, and actions.

Everything and every ONE is a process unfolding like a lotus flower! YOU do what fits comfortable and right in your SOUL. You follow what best gives you vitality, energy, love and joy. Once you learn to sit with yourself in silence and solitude, the power of knowing thy self starts to unfold and present itself to you in so many unimaginable ways.

Until we connect again via this route, I send you all positive vibes, bliss energy, lots of laughter and a recommendation for moving and dancing!

Greetings Beloved. Thank you for visiting my blog. I am passionate about the arts, specifically, dancing and writing poems. I am currently on a journey of discovering and experiencing healing dances, such as Biodanza and Dance Meditation. I am also working on my first poem book and other artistic projects. I was born and created to dance since the inception of my being in my mother’s womb. My bedroom has always been my stage and my mirrors my audience. I thank you mother nature and father universe for allowing me to share such a gift, for I am present now to introduce such an art to your universe. Dancing has always played an integral part in my life when I needed that extra boost in my esteem, that release of mental and emotional tension, and when I wanted to feel alive. I was also aware that when I danced in social settings, it brought other’s joy and a sense of calmness. I started to analyze and put two and two together and discovered that when I dance, I not only bring that same feeling into my body and psyche but that I affect others with it.
